disturb your Spring ethnic
cleansing

blundering into everything
spilled the beans, photobombed
the world detailing
the degree of
my shock as once-
faithful follower
so loyal as a
schoolgoer
but this was so
different, so untrue to
that history

here every body counted
(despite
efforts to the contrary)
every blood smear
detailed on
each horrific page
