HOMELAND

I am
not into homeland

am unhooked
but not unhinged

my mind wanders
finds fertile soil everwhere

can live in
this space forever

but I would never call it
my homelamd
restrict it to my self

presume the right to
live and legislate
such narrowness

if I were to

how would the Universe
find it in its
ever expanding heart
to condescend
to forgive me.
